Cubic Space is actually a calculation of the Lenght X the Width X the Height of your shipment divided by 1728. This tells the total cubic space your shipment uses. Depending on your shipment this figure is then multiplied by a density factor to gauge the weight. The average density factor is 7 pounds per cubic foot.
